The qualifications of our maritime staff are not left to chance. Specifically Captains and officers are being instructed in regular intervals at the NSBacademy training facility. The technological highlight of the NSBacademy is an ultramodern ship navigation simulator, equipped with identical ship navigation consoles as used aboard NSB ships.
Participants are being specifically trained, practically as well as in theory, on how to react in special manoeuvring situations, recognizing and reacting to potential danger.
