Every day six million containers are being transported on the great waterways of the world. NSB has a major share in this transport volume: From our site in Buxtehude we navigate a fleet of 80 container ships between 1,000 and 11,000 TEU, two oil tankers and six product tankers as well as two jack up vessels, managing 90 ship units altogether worldwide. The total shipping capacity reaches some 5.5 million dwt with a container capacity of approximately 400,000 TEU.
